Expresso was founded in 2024 by a stubborn Army vet, Eli, and his wife — not in a boardroom or over lattes with investors, but out of sheer grit, a little spite, and a whole lot of coffee. After getting out of the military and grappling with the aftermath — including a long battle with alcoholism — Eli needed something consistent, affordable, and reliable to look forward to each day. Something that wasn’t another vice… but still hit hard in the morning. Coffee became that thing.
We figured, hey — if there are a million overpriced and over-complicated coffee subscriptions out there, why not build the exact opposite? So we did.
Expresso isn’t some bougie, elite club where you get a single-origin bean from a goat on a mountaintop that costs $42 an ounce. Nah. This is fast, great-tasting coffee that gets to your door when it says it will, doesn’t break the bank, and never sacrifices quality. Just good coffee for people who like to keep it simple, consistent, and strong.
We know it’s not spelled “Espresso.” That’s the point. Expresso is about speed, simplicity, and showing up when you need it most. Plus… we like the pun.
